Gear Tilt Positioner Description
The intended use of the welding positioner is to ensure the job is in the appropriate position for welding. Welding Positioners are equipment that holds, tilts and turns industrial workpieces, such as flanges and pipes, through 360 degrees, to enable an operator to work at a suitable position and on a stable surface.
The channels and holes on the table allow many products such as pipes, molds or flanges of various sizes to be fixed. The welding positioner allows workpiece angulations that are not possible with a crane. This is the main reason why weld positioners are widely used in metal fabrication industries to shape metal parts or components.
It can be used single or in combination with welding manipulators or pipe supports, depending on customer demand.
